Singapore's National Water Agency (PUB) is in the midst of a multiyear canal widening project to improve Bukit Timah Canal's drainage capacity and flood protection for the Bukit Timah area. The section of Bukit Timah Canal from Rifle Range Road to Jalan Kampong Chantek will be expanded.
